Clayton Larcombe’s PAC Capital has participated in Bayes Esports’ Series A4 funding round. This recent investment brings the total capital raised by the Berlin-based esports data company in 2022 to €9 million. The agreement will see Larcombe, a well-known esports personality, assume the role of Chairman of the Board, succeeding Jens Hilgers.

Larcombe, an esports proponent, lauded Bayes Esports as an organization with the “capacity and capability” to transform the sector. His company, PAC Capital, oversees more than $5 billion in assets, specializing in esports, gaming, and groundbreaking technologies. The investment originates from their PAC Private 1 fund, which targets the most pioneering firms in these industries.

Bayes Esports has obtained substantial funding from PAC Capital, demonstrating PAC’s firm confidence in the promising future of competitive gaming. This investment will empower Bayes Esports’ ambitious expansion strategies, encompassing the development of recently unveiled content collaborations, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Additionally, they aim to strengthen their team by recruiting top-tier talent across diverse domains.

Their latest two-year exclusive data agreement with BLAST and the designation of York Scheunemann as COO represent just the initial steps in this promising new phase. Anticipate further groundbreaking announcements in the upcoming weeks.

Amir Mirzaee, Chief Business Officer & Managing Director of Bayes Esports, expressed his excitement: “We are delighted to welcome Larcombe to the team. He contributes strategic foresight and a comprehensive grasp of the esports environment. Collaboratively, we will redefine the limits of what is achievable in this sector.”

This investment, secured during a period of heightened investor selectivity, speaks volumes about the strength of Bayes Esports’ objective: constructing a resilient framework around official esports data. They have commenced 2023 exceptionally well, and it appears there is much more on the horizon.

Focused on maintaining a competitive advantage – in the virtual realm! – regarding competitive gaming information. We’re not merely keeping pace, but rather, we’re exceeding expectations and establishing the standard with our advanced technological advancements.
