Ballys Corporation has reinforced its dedication to ethical behavior and corporate citizenship with two significant appointments. They’ve recruited Don Westcott, a seasoned compliance expert with 25 years of experience in financial technology and gaming, as their Senior Vice President and Global Chief Compliance Officer. Westcott’s credentials are impressive – he joins from a global compliance leadership position at Nuvei, a payments firm, and has developed compliance frameworks from scratch for industry giants like Fiserv and First Data. He even honed his skills in the casino sector, holding leadership roles at Caesars, Osage, and Isle casinos, after beginning his career at Jumers Casino Hotel, now a part of Bally’s Quad Cities.

Additionally, they’ve designated Tammi Barlow as Vice President of Global Responsibility and Social Impact. Barlow possesses a decade of experience in the gaming industry and specializes in crafting responsible gaming initiatives. Prior to joining Bally’s, she spearheaded Rush Street Interactive’s corporate social responsibility strategy, with a particular emphasis on responsible gaming practices.

Esteemed champion of representation and inclusivity in the gaming sector, Ms. Barlow, has moved from her position as co-leader of the Global Gaming Women’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee to a standard participant. She continues to be significantly engaged in ethical gaming endeavors, presently directing the Responsible Gaming Committee for the National Council on Problem Gambling. Her commitment extends to her contributions to the Massachusetts Gaming and Health Advisory Committee and the African American Gaming Council.

Remarking on these new placements, Kim M. Barker, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Bally’s Corporation, stated, “Representing the entire executive team, I offer a cordial greeting to Don and Tammi. Their collective knowledge in regulatory matters, responsible gaming, and societal influence will be indispensable as Bally’s progresses in its growth and development.”
