Aristocrat Leisure Limited announced substantial earnings expansion for the half-year concluding March 31, 2021, propelled by solid results in its online, Americas, and Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) gaming sectors. The firm’s income attained A$2.2 billion, a 1% rise contrasted with the corresponding timeframe last year.

This upswing was powered by a significant recovery in its gaming device operations, notably in the Americas and ANZ territories, where the corporation profited from the widespread adoption of its flagship offerings. Earnings from the Americas hit US$6.095 billion, while ANZ income climbed by nearly 2% to A$2.095 billion.

Aristocrat’s online division witnessed remarkable expansion, with income soaring by 29% to US$8.958 billion compared to the preceding year. This impressive showing was driven by sustained internal investments and an emphasis on long-term value (LTV) enhancement, with user acquisition (UA) representing 28% of income. The online division’s profit also experienced a considerable jump of 52%, reaching US$3.012 billion.

Notwithstanding a decrease in total gaming income, which contracted by 14% to A$1 billion, Aristocrat realized a 6% boost in EBITDA to A$7.503 billion. Profit after tax similarly expanded by 12% to A$4.116 billion. The corporation’s financial records were reviewed by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
