A prominent gaming corporation from Malaysia, BCorp, has struck gold in Vietnam, obtaining sole rights to manage computer-driven lottery entertainment for the upcoming two decades. This undertaking, a joint effort with Vietlott, an entity under the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance, is a major triumph for BCorp, establishing them as the exclusive participant in Vietnam’s rapidly expanding lottery sector.
This initiative signifies a considerable financial commitment from BCorp, exceeding two billion US dollars. To lead this endeavor, BCorp has created Berjaya GTI, a collaborative venture with a Vietnamese firm. This strategic alliance utilizes BCorp’s proficiency and its subsidiary BToto’s knowledge from Malaysia’s thriving lottery system, while navigating the regional terrain.
BCorp’s strategy commences with an initial rollout in Ho Chi Minh City, showcasing a lotto jackpot game, succeeded by the introduction of an online game. In the next five years, they intend to broaden their reach throughout Vietnam, building a network of approximately 10,000 lottery kiosks.
This extended exclusive permit, combined with the difficult entry obstacles within the Vietnamese lottery industry, creates a favorable setting for BCorp to solidify a robust presence and potentially yield substantial profits in the future.
